Casper Smart is not only Jennifer Lopez’s current boytoy, apparently he’s also the reason she left Marc Anthony for good.
According to sources, Marc was holding out for a second chance with Jennifer, but decided to officially file for divorce last week after she broke the news that she’s completely head over heels for Casper. Sources close to Marc say the salsa star had a heartfelt chat with JLo about the possibility of reconciling, but she confessed she was too in-love with Casper to give their marriage another go.
This is isn’t the first time Jennifer’s boyfriend has caused problems between the former power couple. Lopez and Anthony are working together on Q’Viva! The Chosen, a Spanish-language singing competition. Tabloid snitches say Jen wanted to bring Smart on location in Peru, but her husband vetoed the plan, citing Casper’s extensive criminal history.
Casper Smart was arrested in 2010 for drag racing down an Los Angeles freeway with a friend. He later had three warrants issued for his arrest after he failed to turn up at multiple hearings.
Smart faced a similar string of charges and warrants for speeding and driving on a suspended license back in 2006. He nearly went to jail for failing to complete his community service.
