We were just talking about Marvin Rettenmaier and his stunning back-to-back World Poker Tour wins on Tuesday and guess what? That’s made him the new leader in the Global Poker Index’s Player of the Year standings. The German pro has over $3,000,000 in lifetime tournament cashes now and his recent successes have given him a very comfortable lead in the race to the top. His total score right now is 802.42 compared to second placer David Baker’s 715.90.
