2016 Final Four odds: UNC a slight favorite vs. Villanova in title game

Villanova may have set a Final Four record with its 44-point win against Oklahoma, but the Wildcats have opened as a slight underdog in Las Vegas for the national championship on Monday night against North Carolina.

Sports book operator CG Technology (@CGTechnology_) listed the Tar Heels as a 1.5-point favorite Saturday night, with Bookmaker.eu going with -2 as its line and 151 as the over/under total.

North Carolina (-1.5) vs. Villanova (Over/Under: 151)

Villanova’s one-sided win helped boost what has already been an impressive margin of victory in the tournament, on pace to beat the record set by 1967 UCLA. No one, especially the oddsmakers, think that pace will continue against a North Carolina team that has been bigger and stronger than most of its competition during this tournament run.

Villanova and UNC will meet for the national title on Monday night. (USATSI)
