2020 United States Presidential Odds

We’re only a few months into the Donald Trump presidency, and it certainly hasn’t been boring so far, to say the least. But when it comes to the 2020 presidential election, oddsmakers believe “The Donald” has the best chance to head back into the Oval Office for another four years.

At Bovada, Trump is the +300 favorite to win the election with his VP Mike Pence (+700), Elizabeth Warren (+900), Michelle Obama (+1400), Bernie Sanders (+2000), Cory Booker (+2000), Hillary Clinton (+2500), Joe Biden (+2500), Paul Ryan (+2800) and Marco Rubio (+3300) rounding out the top 10.

Those odds are especially interesting when you consider Trump is +120 to finish a full term as POTUS. File that under things that make you go hmmm…

When it comes to the more colorful options, Mark Zuckerberg (+5000), Mark Cuban (+6600), Oprah Winfrey (+10000), Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (+10000), George Clooney (+30000) and Tom Brady (+30000) are also available to wager on.

We’re still a long time away from this happening, which means a futures bet won’t pay off for quite a while, but it’s fun to speculate and an interesting barometer into what the sports betting industry is expecting from the American political scene. We’ll throw it to you: what’s your 2020 American presidential pick? Have your say in the comment section below.

If the 2016 American presidential election taught us anything, it’s that you should always expect the unexpected in politics. Donald Trump, the perennial scrappy underdog who’s worth approximately $3.7 billion, defied the odds to go from a running joke to the 45th president of the United States in stunning fashion.

Trump’s odds of entering the Oval Office were a ridiculous +150000 at one point, and he was +375 the day before the election. Love him or hate him, you have to give him credit for pulling off one of the biggest upsets in American political history.

Even though Trump has been in office for a little under two months, Bovada is already offering odds on who will become president in 2020. Trump is the +225 favorite, while Elizabeth Warren (+800), Mike Pence (+900), Michelle Obama (+1400), Hillary Clinton (+1800), Bernie Sanders (+2000), Julian Castro (+2200), Paul Ryan (+2500), Cory Booker (+2600) and Tim Kaine (+2600) are next on the list.

While those are fairly realistic options, the long shots are worth pointing out. Names like Mark Cuban (+6600), Oprah Winfrey (+6600), Tom Brady (+12500), Leonardo DiCaprio (+12500), Kanye West (+12500), Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (+12500), Vince McMahon (+55000), Kim Kardashian (+55000) and even the lovable Ken Bone (+100000) are also available to wager on.

Here are the OddsShark editorial staff predictions:

Rob Trites – Leonardo DiCaprio

“Give me Leo all day. Now that he’s won his Oscar, there isn’t anything he can’t accomplish. He also said something positive about the environment one time, so that’s working in his favor as well.”

Justin Hartling – Vince McMahon

Stephen Campbell – Kanye West

“This man once said ‘My greatest pain in life is that I will never be able to see myself perform live.’ He has my vote based off that quote alone.”
