After the San Francisco Giants rode Madison Bumgarner
to a win in Game 1, bettors seem conflicted as to whom to back
in Game 2.

“On the spread, the Royals opened at +182 and moved to +189
early, but have since dropped to +173,” a spokesperson from
Pinnacle Sports tells Covers. As
of two hours before the opening pitch, 57 percent of the
action is taking the Royals -1.5.

“It’s worth noting that the Royals’ last seven wins all saw
them get less support in spread bet totals than their
opponents; last night, when their win streak ended, they’d
finally seen the majority of support at game time,” Pinnacle
says.

However, when you look at the moneyline numbers the Giants
are a slight favorite of the community getting 53 percent of
the action according to Pinnacle.

Action has overwhelmingly poured in on the over in totals,
with 81 percent predicting that the game will top seven runs.
“Despite the disparity in Totals bets, our lines on Over and
Under are just one cent off where they opened, suggesting
bigger money in the fewer bets on Under,” explains Pinnacle.
