Action pouring in on Cowboys all week, now a liability

The Dallas Cowboys are a perfect 5-0 straight up and 4-1 against the spread on the road this season. Even though the ‘Boys are coming off a beating last week, action has been heavily on them for their Thursday night showdown with the Chicago Bears.

“We opened the Cowboys a solid 3.5 point road favorite and that number didn’t last that long,” Peter Childs of says. With over 65 percent of action on Dallas early, Childs says the line was shifted to -3.5 (-115) then -3.5 (-120) on Monday before support came in on the Bears.

On Thursday morning, “we started seeing all Cowboys action again, so we moved off the 3.5 and went to Cowboys -4 -115, which is our current number,” Childs explains.

“No question we booked a lot of ‘Boys action Monday at -3.5 and I doubt we’ll get off all that liability come game time. We’ll be pulling for the Bears tonight,” Childs says.

An opening total of 51.5 moved up to 52 on Wednesday morning, with 60 percent of action behind the over per Childs.
