Denver Broncos

The Broncos suffered a big blow during free agency signings when they were forced to let go of TE Julius Thomas due to salary cap room issues. Instead they were able to replace him with TE Owen Daniels, previously with the Ravens. Although he is not of Thomas’ caliber, Daniels will have a legit QB in Peyton Manning. Manning has the ability to put the ball exactly where every player wants, hence expect Daniels to come out strong this season.  Despite the loss of Julius Thomas, Denver is still considered the favorite to win the division.

Oddmakers at Bodog & Bovada currently list the Denver Broncos as:
Odds to win the 2015-16 AFC West: -200
Odds to win the 2015-16 AFC Conference: 5/1
Odds to win the 2016 Superbowl : 12/1

Kansas City Chiefs

Although the Chiefs lost WR Dwayne Bowe during the off-season, they were quickly able to replace the long-time Chiefs receiver with WR Jeremy Maclin who had a stunning season despite his injuries. The Chiefs recently came to an agreement with OLB Justin Houston, signing him to a six-year contract worth $101 million. Houston is the second most payed defensive player of the NFL, right behind Ndamukong Suh. Their 1st round draft pick up consist of CB Marcus Peters from Washington. Peters will be starting come the regular season. Oo and also, don’t forget about one of the best RBs in the game, Jamal Charles. Despite the previously mentioned, I don’t recommend depending on a team that can’t throw any TD Passses to a receiver. (ie. QB Alex Smith-2014)

Oddmakers at Bodog & Bovada currently list the Kansas City Chiefs as:
Odds to win the 2015-16 AFC West: +400
Odds to win the 2015-16 AFC Conference: 16/1
Odds to win the 2016 Superbowl : 33/1

Oakland Raiders

With the 4th overall pick in this year’s draft, the Oakland Raiders picked up WR Amari Cooper from Alabama. He was considered the #1 Wide Receiver of the draft and is set as the #1 WR in Oakland’s depth chart. That said, he is ready to play. Cooper will be playing alongside newly acquired WR Michael Crabtree. Not only that, but the Raiders also picked up two other potential players during the draft that being DE Mario Edwards from Florida State and TE Clive Walford from Miami. These rookies were in the top 5 of their respective positions from this years selections and are also set in the Raiders starting depth chart. Despite the aforementioned, they are still considered a huge risk.

Oddmakers at Bodog & Bovada currently list the Oakland Raiders as:
Odds to win the 2015-16 AFC West: +1200
Odds to win the 2015-16 AFC Conference: 33/1
Odds to win the 2016 Superbowl : 66/1

San Diego Chargers

Luckily the Chargers were able to add a future prospect to their poor running game in this year’s draft by picking up Melvin Gordon from Wisconsin. He is expected to be the missing puzzle of the Chargers offense. During the off-season, San Diego also added WR Stevie Johnson to their offense. Unfortunately, the Chargers defense is the main issue. They don’t have many big name players which as a result may affect their season. Oddsmakers have listed the Chargers fairly. Knowing QB Philip Rivers capabilities and what he can do with his offense, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Chargers sneak into the wild card round.

Oddmakers at Bodog & Bovada currently list the San Diego Chargers as:
Odds to win the 2015-16 AFC West: +500
Odds to win the 2015-16 AFC Conference: 22/1
Odds to win the 2016 Superbowl : 40/1
