AP Top 25: Syracuse joins rankings at No. 14, Kentucky still on top

>> More Rankings: Top 25 (and one) | Coaches’ Poll

We’ve got a lot of movement in this week’s poll. No surprise, as the Thanksgiving-week barrage of tournaments offered up a lot of interesting results. The Big 12 owns three teams in the top 10, while Maryland and Michigan State hold steady at No. 2 and 3 after refsuing to lose last week.

Elsewhere, you’ll see Kentucky is still at the top. Purdue makes a big jump, from 16 to 11, and Cincinnati moved from No. 24 up to No. 17.

The big matchup this week features No. 2 heading to No. 9. Maryland will play North Carolina, and the Heels will get Marcus Paige on the floor for the first time this season
