Vegas Sports Betting: Arizona Cardinals Betting Odds and Season Preview

Sports bettors know the NFC West division is considered somewhat one of the harder divisions; with both the Seahawks and the 49ers in the division, the Arizona Cardinals are going to have to step-up their game if they want to take this division and advance to the playoffs. Last year, although they had a great season going 10-6, the team was not able to make it to the playoffs as they were just short of that wild card spot. The team was very active during free agency signings and got several players that I think, in my opinion, would fit in just right. On the offensive side, they let go of wide receiver Andre Roberts however acquired Ted Ginn Jr to replace him which will be a perfect mix with the rest of the Cardinals receivers; he is set to be the 3rd WR alongside with Larry Fitzgerald as leading receiver and Micheal Floyd as 2nd who had impressive stats last year. They also acquired a tight end John Carlson from the Minnesota Vikings; he is said to be the starting TE beside newly drafted player from Notre-Dame Troy Niklas. The running game is an area that head coach Bruce Arians should focus on as veteran running back Rashard Mendenhall has retired from the NFL which allows Andre Ellington to take his spot. On the defensive side, the team added cornerback Antonio Cromartie who is a perfect mix to the defense; he and Patrick Patterson will be working together covering receivers; this combination of veteran CB will give this defense experience that can be worked with. Also, don’t forget about the 14 year veteran offensive linebacker John Abraham who might still have some gas in the tank left; unfortunately Abraham has issues to deal with as he was arrested on June 29th and charged with DUI in Atlanta. Vegas Sports betting believes that the Cardinals are a team to watch out for this upcoming season and the sportsbook’s lines show that very well.
