AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Odds

[ad_1]

One of the most iconic golf courses on the PGA Tour will be on full display this weekend when the Pebble Beach Pro-Am takes center stage. The California swing always draws top-notch competition, and this year’s edition is no different.

Dustin Johnson and Jordan Spieth are +800 co-favorites to go all the way at Bovada, with Jason Day (+1200), Justin Rose (+1200), Brandt Snedeker (+1600), Jon Rahm (+1600), Phil Mickelson (+1600), Jimmy Walker (+2800), Matt Kuchar (+2800) and Patrick Reed (+2800) rounding out the top 10.

The tournament is staged over three courses (Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill and Monterey Peninsula) in a rotation over the first three days before a cut is made and the remaining 60 players duke it out at Pebble Beach on Sunday.

Length and accuracy off the tee is not necessarily important, as last year’s champion Vaughn Taylor proved. Taylor put on a clinic around the green with an abundance of clutch putts to finish the weekend at 17 under. The 40-year-old has a +10000 shot of doing it again this time around.

Watch out for Mickelson, who’s a four-time winner at the event. Lefty nearly made it five last year before finishing one stroke off the lead. Mickelson has a history of dominating at courses he’s comfortable at, and he’s in solid form after strong showings at the Phoenix Open, Farmers Insurance Open and CareerBuilder Challenge.

In terms of long-shot value, I’m liking Adam Hadwin’s chances at +6600. The Canadian has been swinging a hot club of late, highlighted by a second-place finish at the CareerBuilder Challenge. Hadwin’s not one of the bigger names in golf, but it’s starting to feel like his first PGA Tour win is just around the corner.

Here’s a look at the book’s full list of odds:
