Baseball is a very fickle sport. One day you’re up and everything’s going your way. But an error here, a seeing ball with eyes there and all of a sudden the losses can start to pile up. Just ask the Colorado Rockies who for two and a half months could do no wrong.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have been one of the hottest teams in the Major Leagues in June, not to mention most of May.
The Los Angeles Angels snapped their winning streak at ten games in the first game of this series, but the Dodgers bounced back for a 4-0 win on Tuesday.
Chicago Cubs are looking to regain the magic that led to them eventually hoisting the World Series trophy for the first time in 108 years. Last year they made it look so easy breaking out to an incredibly hot start and riding that momentum all the way to the trophy.
Baltimore and Toronto are two teams that simply don’t like each other. Led by fiery leaders Manny Machado and Jose Bautista, the two teams disdain runs deep and that should make for an extra spicy mid-week matchup between these two AL East foes.
Colorado Rockies is the midst of run where nine of their 12 games are against the teams they are fighting for first in the NL West. They faced Arizona and the Dodgers for six games and next weekend they’ll head to Arizona for another three-game set.

It’s been a challenging schedule for the Los Angeles Angels of late. Since June 9th they’ve had series with Houston, two with the Yankees and one with the red-hot Royals. Heading into Thursday’s games they’ve fared pretty well, going 6-6 with three of the losses coming to Kansas City.
It’s helped them keep up with Seattle and Texas for second place in the AL West and within striking distance of that second Wild Card spot.
That’s probably the best they could ask for with their…
It’s been a rough month for the Detroit Tigers. Not too long ago they were pushing Minnesota and Cleveland for first in the tightly bunched AL Central. Now they’re fighting to stay out of the cellar, just a half game up on the White Sox heading into Wednesday’s games.
They are just 3-9 after hitting the .500 mark on June 7th. That includes series losses to the Red Sox and Diamondbacks. And more recently four losses in a row to Tampa Bay and Seattle.
They’ve scored just nine runs through the…
