Badgers easily cover as small faves versus Nebraska

Paced by an FBS-record 408 rushing yards from Melvin Gordon, the Wisconsin Badgers thumped the Nebraska Cornhuskers by a score of 59-24 and easily covered the closing pointspread as 4.5-point home favorites Saturday.

Gordon scampered for a whopping 238 yards in the first half alone, helping Wiscy jump out to a 24-17 lead at the half, before owning the second half by a tally of 35-7 en route to covering the closing spread by 30.5 points.

The Badgers have now covered the spread in four-straight games and have evened their season mark to 5-5 against the spread.

The Badgers travel to Iowa in next week before finishing the regular season at home against Minnesota.
