Art Briles was dismissed as the football coach amid sexual and physical abuse allegations

Baylor has parted ways with head football coach Art Briles Thursday morning, according to multiple reports and there national title odds have taken a huge blow as a result.

Briles was dismissed by the school amid investigations into numerous allegations of physical and sexual assaults by football players at the university during his time as head coach.

Online sportsbook, has moved Baylor from 12/1 to win this upcoming season’s National Championship to 20/1 with the news of Briles’ dismissal. Baylor’s season win total was set at 9.0 also prior to his dismissal according to the Golden Nugget.

Briles was the head coach of the Bears for eight seasons compiling a record of 65-37 straight up, 58-40-1 ATS and 62-36-2 Over/Under.

Since 2011, he had lead Baylor to a 50-15 SU record, including two Big 12 tiles, while going 39-23-1 ATS (62.9 percent) and 42-19-2 O/U (68.9 percent).
