Washington heads into this matchup winners of two straight, including a 35-25 win over Buffalo last week, while Philadelphia comes in, losers of four of their last six and bettors are siding with the hot hand.
“We opened the Eagles a 3.5 favorite and since then it’s been all Washington money. We went +3.5 -115, +3.5 -120, then kicked it down to 3 flat and even at that price, our customers were taking the dog,” Childs told Covers. “With 65 percent of the action on Washington, I believe we’ll eventually get back to +3 -115 or -120.”
Childs is more concerned about the Washington moneyline.
“If our customers liked the Redskins and the points, then they LOVE the Redskins plus the juice. We opened Eagles -150 and again, it’s been all Redskins action and it’s pushed our price down to -145. Bottom line, if the Redskins win outright, we lose a small fortune on tonight’s game,” Childs said.
As for the total, it comes as no surprise, but the public is on the over here.
“With nearly 75 percent of the action on the over, we’ve gone from 48 to our current number of 49,” Childs added.
