Boxing Betting Odds: December Preview

[ad_1]

On Saturday, December 13 two fight cards in Las Vegas will feature championship bouts. First, at the MGM Grand, Amir Khan (29-3, 19 KO’s) will put his WBC Silver Middleweight title on the line against Devon Alexander (26-2, 14 KO’s).

Oddsmakers at 5Dimes have this fight handicapped relatively closely with Khan currently getting the edge as the -260 favorite, while successful action on Alexander will currently pay out at +220. Boxing betting fans can also get OVER/UNDER prop action on the fight with the line set at 8.5 rounds. OVER boxing odds are currently at a -440 price, while the UNDER will pay +350.

The other Las Vegas fight card this weekend will feature Timothy Bradley Jr. (31-1, 12 KO’s) in his return to the ring following his first professional loss. He will be facing the tough Diego Gabriel Chaves (22-2, 19 KO’s) in what appears to be a lopsided matchup.

Bradley is currently the heavy -900 favorite to win, while the unlikely Chaves upset will currently pay +600. The real boxing betting value seems to be in the 5Dimes prop bets on the UNDER 9.5 rounds at +350. Bradley should dominate and could easily pay out with an early-round finish.

On December 19 in Quebec, Adonis Stevenson (24-1, 20 KO’s) will put his WBC Light Heavyweight title on the line against Dmitry Sukhotsky (22-2, 16 KO’s). This fight looks like one for the big rollers with a current 5Dimes boxing odds -2600 price on Stevenson to win.

If you have the cash this one should be over in the first couple of rounds. Keep your eye out at 5Dimes for OVER/UNDER prop action on this matchup, as we expect it to be over early.
