Butler’s Andrew Chrabascz to be sidelined weeks by fractured hand

Butler sophomore Andrew Chrabascz suffered a broken hand in Saturday’s loss to Villanova and will be sidelined 2-to-4 weeks, a source told CBSSports.com on Sunday.

A formal announcement is expected soon.

Chrabascz is averaging 11.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 27.2 minutes per game. The 6-foot-7 forward played much of the second half against Villanova with the injury. He finished with eight points and four rebounds in 33 minutes.

Butler is 18-7 overall, 8-4 in the Big East and ranked 18th in the AP poll.

The Bulldogs play Creighton on Monday night.
