Canadiens winning on the ice and at the betting window to begin the season

USA TODAY Sports

It’s early days still, but the Montreal Canadiens have firmly established themselves as one of, if not the, best team in the league so far in the 2015-16 season.

The Habs have skated out to a 6-0 record and have beaten some quality opponents along the way, earning backers some decent pay out of the gate.

The season began with four wins on the road as faves of -160 at the Toronto Maple Leafs, -115 at the Boston Bruins, -107 at the Ottawa Senators and as +113 dogs at the Pittsburgh Penguins. Recently, on home ice, they defeated the New York Rangers priced at -118 and the Detroit Red Wings at around -178.

Thanks to those numbers, the Habs have earned $496.84 if a bettor wagered $100 on each of their games this season.

Habs bettors will look for the good times to continue when they host the St. Louis Blues Tuesday evening.
