CFL 2015 Division Semi-Finals Preview

The CFL betting slate is highlighted by playoff matchups this week as Hamilton hosts Toronto and Calgary gets a visit from B.C. in the Eastern and Western division semi-finals. Here’s a look at the odds and betting trends for the first weekend of Canadian Football League postseason action.

Toronto at Hamilton – Sunday, November 15

Last 10 Meetings: Hamilton 7-3 SU, 8-2 ATS | OU 4-6

The Tiger-Cats were a perfect 3-0 both SU and ATS this past season against the Argonauts as those two Ontario rivals meet in the Eastern semi-final on Sunday. Hamilton beat Toronto by a score of 34-18 as a 3.5-point favorite in their first meeting on August 3, then topped them 42-12 as a 7.5-point favorite on September 7 and 35-27 as a 4-point favorite on September 11. Four of the last six games between Hamilton and Toronto have turned out as UNDER results for totals bettors.

At 5Dimes the Tiger-Cats are listed as 2.5-point favorites against the Argonauts.

B.C. at Calgary – Sunday, November 15

Last 10 Meetings: Calgary 7-3 SU, 6-4 ATS | OU 6-4

The Stampeders have won four straight games SU against the Lions heading into their Western semi-final on Sunday, including a 28-7 victory in a pick’em contest on the road when they met just last weekend to close out the regular-season schedule. Calgary also topped B.C. 35-23 but failed to cover the 13-point spread at home in their first meeting of the season on September 18. The OVER/UNDER went 1-1 in Stampeders vs. Lions games this past season, but the OVER is 3-2 in their matchups over the past two years.

At 5Dimes the Stampeders are listed as 9.5-point favorites against the Lions.
