The Montreal Alouettes have gone 7-1 ATS in their last eight games as a double-digit underdog dating all the way back to 1997, and they’re facing a double-digit spread on the road in the early CFL betting lines for this week against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Here’s a look at the CFL odds matchups on tap for Week 10 of the season.
Montreal at Hamilton – August 27
Last 10 Meetings: Hamilton 6-4 SU, 4-6 ATS | OU 4-6
The Tiger-Cats have just two ATS victories in their last eight games against the Alouettes, but at 7-1 ATS they’re the most profitable team in the CFL so far this season heading into their matchup on Thursday night. Montreal beat Hamilton in their first meeting of the season on July 16, winning 17-13 as a 2.5-point home underdog in that game.
At 5Dimes the Tigers-Cats are listed as 10-point favorites against the Alouettes.
Toronto at Edmonton – August 28
Last 10 Meetings: Edmonton 5-5 SU, 6-4 ATS | OU 7-3
The Eskimos are just 1-4 SU but 3-2 ATS in their last five games against the Argonauts as those teams meet in a West vs. East battle on the CFL gridiron on Friday night. The Argonauts easily beat the Eskimos in the first meeting of the season between the two teams, winning 26-11 as a 7.5-point home underdog in the UNDER result for bettors.
At 5Dimes the Eskimos are listed as 4-point favorites against the Argonauts.
Calgary at Winnipeg – August 29
Last 10 Meetings: Winnipeg 1-9 SU, 3-4-3 ATS | OU 5-5
The Blue Bombers lost but covered the posted spread at the sportsbooks in their first meeting of the season against the Stampeders back in July as the teams battle once again on Saturday. Calgary won that game 26-25 but failed to cover the 7-point spread at home. The UNDER has now paid out in three of the last four games between the two teams.
At 5Dimes the Stampeders are listed as 6-point favorites against the Blue Bombers.
Saskatchewan at Ottawa – August 30
Last 10 Meetings: Ottawa 0-2 SU, 1-1 ATS | OU 2-0
The RedBlacks will be favored on the CFL betting lines for the first two in their two-year franchise history on Sunday when they play host to the winless Roughriders. Ottawa is just 4-4 SU on the season but they’re 5-2 ATS overall and a strong 3-1 ATS in their four home games. Saskatchewan is 0-8 SU and not much better at 2-6 ATS.
At 5Dimes the RedBlacks are listed as 3-point favorites against the Roughriders.
