College Football Week 7 Expert Picks

The Alabama Crimson Tide are 9-1 straight up in their last 10 games against SEC opponents. The Crimson Tide face another conference foe this Saturday when they visit the Texas A&M Aggies.

Alabama is a 4-point road favorite at online sportsbook 5Dimes. The Crimson Tide have done a poor job covering the spread in recent conference road games with a 2-7-1 ATS record over their last 10, but the spread they are asked to cover is usually a lot larger.

Alabama is 15-2 SU in its last 17 conference road games and should establish its SEC dominance over Texas A&M on Saturday. The Aggies are 5-12 ATS in their last 17 SEC games.

Take Arizona State and the Points vs utah

After a slow start to the season, the Arizona State Sun Devils are 2-0 SU and ATS over their last two games including a 38-23 road win over UCLA as a 13-point underdog. Utah played a tough game against Cal last week and has a big road test looming going on the road to face USC next week.

The last two games between these two teams have been decided by a combined four points, and I see this being another close one. Take the 6.5 points on the Sun Devils.

The Boston College Eagles visit the Clemson Tigers as a 15.5-point underdog at BetOnline. Boston College has one of the best defenses in the country allowing a microscopic 7.2 points per game, and while Clemson figures to put up more than that, 15.5 points is too many for Clemson to lay in a game that figures to be a very low-scoring affair.

Each of Clemson’s last three wins over BC have been by 14 points or less, and this one should be as well.

Look for Baylor to Blow out West Virginia

The Baylor Bears are a well-oiled machine on offense with 64.2 points per game and are 3-0 SU and ATS over their last three games. Baylor hosts West Virginia this Saturday as a 21-point home favorite.

West Virginia is 0-2 SU and ATS after failing to hang with Oklahoma and Oklahoma State on offense, and I see the Mountaineers getting blown away again on Saturday.

Thursday night, take Western Kentucky at -32.5 over North Texas. North Texas is 0-5 SU and ATS this season with an average margin of defeat of 46.7 over its last three games.
