Conor McGregor Career UFC Odds History

Conor McGregor has taken the MMA world by storm since entering the UFC in April of 2013. His rare combination of unparalleled bravado and unique striking ability have already made him the most polarizing UFC fighter of all-time. What sets him apart from other trash talkers in the sport is his ability to back his words up in impressive fashion, as he’s recorded five TKO/KO finishes in his six UFC fights.

Going back to his time outside of the UFC, the 27-year-old Irishman has won 14 fights in a row. He finished 12 of those fights by TKO/KO, one by submission and one by decision.

McGregor was a -155 betting favorite in his UFC debut vs Marcus Brimage in 2013 and has closed as a favorite in every fight since, climbing as high as -950 vs Dennis Siver at the start of the year. In his most recent fight vs Chad Mendes, who was a late replacement in the fight, McGregor was a -210 favorite.

Next up for McGregor is the biggest fight of his career against longstanding featherweight champ Jose Aldo. The fight was originally scheduled to take place in July, but Aldo was forced to withdrawal due to a rib injury. Bodog currently has McGregor listed as a -185 favorite which might come as a surprise to some considering the current champ Aldo has now won 18 fights in a row, which includes seven straight title defenses.

Since the odds for the fight were released in January, they’ve slowly moved in McGregor’s favor. He actually opened as a +145 underdog, even going up to +155 at one point. As the initially planned July fight approached, McGregor saw the odds turn in his favor, and they’ve continued to move that way since.

Here’s a list of McGregor’s career UFC Odds along with three fights from his pre-UFC days:
