Did Arizona bettors have insider info on the Super Bowl anthem?

USA Today Sports

Each year during the Super Bowl, one of the most popular prop bets available at sportsbooks is the length of the national anthem.

The Over/Under on that prop for Super Bowl XLIX (which was sung by Idina Menzel) was 122.5 seconds, which saw the Frozen star go Over that number by four seconds. But according to off-shore book Sportsbook.ag, there may have been something fishy about the result.

“This was interesting because an hour prior to kickoff we took multiple max bets on the Over,” a source from the book told Covers. “Many of them were new accounts based in Arizona, which suggested some potential insider information which could have stemmed from Menzel’s rehearsals. Fortunately the limits were low on this prop but we suspended the line anyway.”

Do you think there’s something to this story or was it simply a coincidence? Explain why or why not in the comments.
