Despite their 0-1 start to the season the Philadelphia Eagles remain the slight favorites on the odds to win the NFC East division title at the online sportsbooks heading into their Week 2 clash against their closest rival on the betting lines.
At 5Dimes the Eagles sit at +110 vs. The Field on the odds to win the NFC East, with the Dallas Cowboys at +130 vs The Field with those teams meeting at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday afternoon. Philadelphia is a 4.5-point betting favorite for the game.
The Eagles lost 26-24 on the road at Atlanta in Week 1, relying heavily on quarterback Sam Bradford with the sixth-year signal caller throwing 50-plus passes in the game for just the fifth time in his NFL career.
The Cowboys slipped past the New York Giants 27-26 at AT&T Stadium in Week 1, but lost All-Pro receiver Dez Bryant for anywhere from four to 12 weeks with a fractured foot. Dallas was the only NFC East team to pick up a victory in their opener.
The Giants (+575) and the Redskins (+2500) trail vs The Field on the odds to win the NFC East at 5Dimes heading into Week 2. The Giants imploded against the Cowboys last week, and the Redskins looked less than average in a 17-10 loss to the Dolphins.
