The Green Bay Packers have been inconsistent at best so
far this season. Despite the erratic play, bettors have been
happy to take the Packers leading into their clash with the
Minnesota Vikings Thursday.

“We opened the Packers -10.5 and quickly drew sharp action at
that price pushing us down to 10…and eventually to 9,”
Peter Childs of Sportsbook.ag says. “Pretty much all that
early action was sharp money on the dog,” before bringing the
line all the way down to Green Bay -8.5 where it currently
sits.

With the status of Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater still
undetermined, Childs fees okay with the early sharp money on
the Vikings. “But if this game does land 10 or 9, we’ll get
hurt pretty good,” Childs says.

The total opened at 50, but was quickly beat down to 48
before Sportsbook.ag saw nothing but over bets
and had to move it to its current 48.5. “I believe those
under bets today are basically weather related, with moderate
rain in the forecast tonight,” Childs says.
