Holy $hit Betting Stat of the Day: Reds are a red-hot under play

The Cincinnati Reds’ offense has disappeared and it has the under red-hot, going 12-1-1 in their last 14 contests, including their last nine games in a row.

The Red’ offense is scoring just 3.07 runs per game during that stretch and if you take away the one game they went over, (a 15-5 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on July 30) they are scoring a miniscule 2.15 runs per game.

Cincinnati continues their three-game series against the Padres in San Diego Tuesday night, where the total currently sits at 7.5 runs.

Right-hander Michael Lorenzen (4.84 ERA, 7-8 O/U) is expected to make the start for the Reds, while the Padres will counter with righty Colin Rea, who makes his first career big league start.
