Indians continue to be the hottest over team in the majors

USA Today Sports

With a 7-4 loss at the hands of the Kansas City Royals, the Cleveland Indians hit their sixth consecutive under Thursday. The Tribes over/under record has been dominated by an inability to stop opponents from scoring as the team has a 10-1 O/U record in their past 11 contests.

Cleveland has allowed 4.72 runs per game this season, the fourth most in the MLB, but that number jumps to a staggering 6.5 runs over their past 11 contests. The Tribe also allows the fourth most hits (9.30 per game) while posting the fifth worst team ERA (4.72).

The Indians have allowed huge offensive outbursts during their torrid over streak as Cleveland has allowed three or more runs in a single inning in eight of those contests. To make things worse for the Tribe, they have allowed their opponent to score as many or more runs in one inning than they would in the entire game six times in their past 11.

Cleveland starts a weekend series with the Minnesota Twins Friday with the total currently set at 8.5.
