Brad Calipari, formerly a Lexington High School player now at MacDuffie School in Massachusetts, committed to Kentucky on Sunday on Twitter.
Blessed to be able to say I’ll be apart of the #BBN next year!!

Calipari got interest from several Division I programs but has decided to join his father, John Calipari, instead. The 6-foot point guard will walk on, joining a freshman class that includes five of the top 25 players in the country according to 247Sports.
When asked last summer on ESPN about the potential of adding his son as a walk-on, John Calipari joked that his wife would make him stay at Kentucky for “five more years” to see out his career. It’s not enough for Cal to secure one of the best recruiting classes in recent memory, now even the walk-ons are bringing headlines.
