Louisville is 12th in Top 25 (and one) following another lopsided victory

Louisville beat Kennesaw State on Wednesday to improve to 8-1 with eight double-digit wins, all of which have come at the expense of teams ranked outside of KenPom’s top 120. The Cards have won their past three by an average of 36 points. They’re projected to win their next three by at least 19 each. So almost nobody could use a game against a quality opponent as much as Louisville could use a game against a quality opponent.

Regardless, the next game against a quality opponent won’t come until Dec. 26.

That’s when Louisville visits Kentucky.

The Cards are ranked 12th in the updated CBS Sports Top 25 (and one).
