Luck, Rodgers Passing Yards Favorites

Drew Brees and Ben Roethlisberger tied for the most passing yards in the NFL in the regular season in 2014, but it’s another pair of quarterbacks that lead those prop odds at the online sportsbooks heading into the 2015 campaign.

At Bodog it’s Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts and Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers that are the +400 co-favorites on the odds to lead the NFL in passing yards in the 2015 regular season. Luck finished third in the league with 4,761 passing yards last season, while Rodgers was seventh with 4,381 passing yards.

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ Roethlisberger, who tied with the New Orleans Saints’ Brees with a league-leading 4,952 passing yards last year, is then set at +700 on that season-long betting prop at the sportsbook. Brees is pegged at +750 on the list; he was second in the league in passing yards with 5,162 back in 2013.

The leader in 2013 was the Denver Broncos’ Peyton Manning with a whopping 5,477 passing yards, but he slipped to fourth in the league with 4,727 yards through the air in 2014. Manning, though, still has solid +700 odds to pay out on that prop wager at Bodog in the season ahead.

Matt Ryan (+1000), Eli Manning (+1200), and Matthew Stafford (+1200) round out the top of that odds board, while Tom Brady sits at +2000 on the list. The New England Patriots quarterback finished 10th in the league with 4,109 passing yards last season but is facing a four-game suspension to start off 2015.
