Two teams in tight division races will hit the gridiron together at the Superdome on Monday night as Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints play host to Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens in the primetime matchup.
The Saints head into Monday night on a two-game losing streak that has dropped them to 4-6 both SU and ATS on the season – but in the watered-down NFC South standings that still has them right in the thick of the division title race.
New Orleans began the season with two straight losses, then won four of their next six games before suffering back-to-back defeats against the San Francisco 49ers and the Cincinnati Bengals in the past two weeks. The Saints lost 27-24 to the Niners as 6-point home favorites, and they fell 27-10 to the Bengals as 7.5-point home favorites.

The Ravens, meanwhile, are engaged in a four-team battle for the AFC North crown and head into Monday night at 6-4 both SU and ATS on the season. Baltimore put an end to a two-game losing streak last weekend with a 21-7 win over the Tennessee Titans as a 10.5-point betting favorite; they had been coming off losses to the Bengals and Steelers.
Despite New Orleans’ struggles at home over the past two weeks the oddsmakers still have them set as the 3-point favorites for Monday night at the Superdome with the OVER/UNDER set at 50 points. The OVER/UNDER has gone 5-5 in Ravens games this season, and 7-3 in Saints games. The OVER is 3-0 in the last three games between the Saints and Ravens.
Kickoff for Monday night’s game between the Ravens and Saints is set for 8:30pm ET in New Orleans. There are actually two games on the schedule for Monday this week, as the Jets vs. Bills matchup that has moved to Ford Field in Detroit due to excessive snowfall in Buffalo will get underway at 7:00pm ET. The Bills are 2.5-point favorites for that contest.
