In game 1 of the Western Conference finals, Stephen Curry scored two free throws in the final seconds of the match to finish with 34 points and the Golden State Warriors erasing a 16-point deficit to win 110-106 in the series opener against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night. Dwight Howard’s Status

Rockets Star Center, Dwight Howard said Wednesday he could participate in the game 2 of the Western Conference Finals against the Golden State on Thursday despite a left knee injury that limited his playing time at Match No. 1. “I do not think that will limit my time playing for the rest of the series,” said Howard. “I want to stay positive and focused, doctors will do their job to make sure that I can play,” he continued. Houston, however, placed  Howard in the list of players doubtful for the game 2. Howard, injured his left knee during a collision with teammate Josh Smith during the first quarter of game 1 against Golden State. He returned to the field to the third quarter, but finished the match with only seven points and thirteen rebounds in 26 minutes. Howard finished the previous series against the Los Angeles Clippers with averages of 17.6 points, 13.9 rebounds per game. The former player of Orlando and the Lakers missed 41 regular-season games because of a right knee injury.
