NBA Week Betting: Raptors, Nets on Tap

The Toronto Raptors will be aiming to stay atop the standings in the Eastern Conference on Thursday when they take on the Chicago Bulls as 2.5-point home favorites in NBA online betting at Bodog.

The 7-1 Raptors finished first in the Atlantic Division last season, and their fast start this year leaves them with a perfect 5-0 SU record at home. Toronto is also riding a five-game SU winning streak, but failed to cover as 10.5-point favorites in a 104-100 win over the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night.

Thursday night’s matchup with Chicago is the first of two games for the Raptors this weekend. The Dinos welcome the Utah Jazz to town on Saturday. The 3-6 Jazz dropped a 100-97 decision to Atlanta on Wednesday night, covering as 7-point underdogs.

The 4-3 Brooklyn Nets will try to bounce back from a disappointing loss to the Phoenix Suns when they take on the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night, pegged as 10-point road underdogs.

The Nets, who trail the pack in NBA futures betting at Bodog with odds of 66/1, blew a seven-point fourth-quarter lead in a 112-104 loss to the Suns on Wednesday, failing to cover as five-point dogs. Brooklyn, a middling 3-4 ATS in the early going, wrap up their road trip with a visit to Portland on Saturday night.

The Sacramento Kings will look to gain ground on Pacific Division-leading Golden State when they visit the red-hot Memphis Grizzlies as 6.5-point underdogs at Bodog. Since starting the season 5-1 SU, the Kings have lost two straight and are 5-2-1 ATS.

The 7-1 Grizzlies join the Raptors atop the NBA standings, but are currently riding a three-game losing streak ATS.

The Kings return home to face the struggling San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night.

The 4-3 Spurs currently sit last in the Southwest Division, but remain a solid 9/2 bet to repeat as NBA champions in futures betting at Bodog. San Antonio starts the weekend with a Friday night matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The 1-7 Lakers fell 109-102 to the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday but covered as 10.5-point underdogs for their fourth straight ATS win, improving the Lakers to 4-3-1 ATS on the season.
