Running back Adrian Peterson has returned to the Minnesota Vikings, so what will that mean for their betting futures at the online sportsbooks heading into the summer?
The Vikings were at +900 on the odds to win the NFC North division title at Bodog at the end of May, but with Peterson back in the fold Minnesota is now at +700 on those betting lines.
The Green Bay Packers continue to lead the way on the NFC North odds as the clear -300 favorite, with the Detroit Lions second at +550, and the Chicago Bears the longshot on the futures at +1200. Minnesota went 7-9 to finish third in the NFC North last season.
The Vikings are also at 25/1 odds to win the NFC Championship Game in the upcoming season and at 50/1 odds to win Super Bowl 50. Minnesota’s wins OVER/UNDER at Bodog is set at 7.5 on that prop wager.
Peterson played just one game for the Vikings last season before getting suspended, rushing for 75 yards on 21 attempts against the Rams. Back in 2013 Peterson rushed for 1,266 yards and 10 touchdowns in his 14 games played.
