The Denver Broncos lost to the Seattle Seahawks 43-8 as a 2-point favorite in the Super Bowl last season, and they’re 3.5-point underdogs on the opening Week 3 betting lines for the rematch between the two teams on Sunday afternoon.
Denver is 2-0 SU but 0-2 ATS to start the season, and they’re coming off a 24-17 win over the Chiefs. Seattle, meanwhile, is just 1-1 both SU and ATS on the season after falling 30-21 to the Chargers last week.
Looking at the NFL betting trends for Week 3, the Broncos are just 1-3 both SU and ATS in their last four games as road underdogs, while the Seahawks are 17-5 ATS in their last 22 home games. The UNDER has also gone 5-1 in Seattle’s last six games at home.

Week 3 of the NFL schedule gets underway on Thursday night in Atlanta, with the Falcons opening as 4.5-point home favorites against the Buccaneers. The home teams were favored on the opening lines in all three primetime games this week, with Pittsburgh at Carolina -3.5 on Sunday night, and Chicago at the Jets -1.5 on Monday night.
On Sunday afternoon the big favorites on the opening NFL lines are the Saints at -9.5 at home against the Vikings, the Bengals at -7 at home against the Titans, the Patriots at -14.5 at home against the Raiders, and the Colts at -7 on the road against the Jaguars. Indianapolis will be playing on a short week; they faced the Eagles on Monday Night Football in Week 2.

No line was set for the Washington at Philadelphia game prior to the start of the Eagles’ appearance on Monday Night Football in Week 2, with Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III (ankle) out for Week 3 and wide receiver DeSean Jackson (shoulder) considered questionable to play against his old team.
