Home underdogs make up a large chunk of the Week 6 opening NFL betting lines, with the Houston Texans one of those teams getting points in their own stadium as they host the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday Night Football this week.
The Texans opened as 2-point home underdogs against the Colts on the NFL odds for this week, with those teams tied atop the AFC South standings with identical marks of 3-2 SU and 4-1 ATS. The Colts are 3-0 both SU and ATS in their last three against the Texans, according to the betting trends for Week 6.

Six other games opened with home underdogs for this week, including Baltimore at Tampa Bay +3.5, Denver at the Jets +6, Detroit at Minnesota +3, Green Bay at Miami +3, and San Diego at Oakland +7. As well, St. Louis opened as a 4-point home underdog against San Francisco for Monday Night Football; the Niners are 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine games as road favorites.
As well, the New England at Buffalo game opened as a pick’em, although the Patriots’ convincing win on Sunday Night Football over the Bengals pushed Tom Brady and company to 3-point road favorites by Monday night. The Pats are 20-1 SU in their last 21 games against the Bills.
