The AFC Championship Game had a massive effect and then some on the line for Super Bowl XLIX.

The expected Super Bowl clash between New England and Seattle opened at Seattle -3 at most books. In the wake of the Patriots’ convincing 45-7 thrashing of the Colts, that line rapidly moved towards Tom Brady’s squad.

The Westgate LV SuperBook opened the ‘Hawks at -2.5, but less than an hour later moved the game to a pick’em. At the time of writing, the majority of offshore books had the game at a pick’em as well. The MGM Grand even went as far as listing the Pats as a 1-point fave for the Big Game.

What do you think of the line? Did the books get it right? Let us know on Twitter now.
