Peyton Manning is favored to break the career touchdown passing record this weekend against the San Francisco 49ers, but betting against him might be a good idea if history repeats itself.
In four career games vs the 49ers, Manning has just five TDs and one of his worst QB ratings of 81.8, according to career splits listed at Football-Reference.
Manning needs two TD passes to tie Brett Favre’s record of 508 and three to pass him, and Bodog says it’s a -180 wager if you want to bet on him. Indeed the 49ers defense is banged up, but history says Manning doesn’t light up the Niners.
The sportsbook also offered up Peyton Manning props on who would catch the record-breaking TD pass (Julius Thomas is favored) and how long the TD will be (the over-under was set at 12.5 yards).
