Peyton Manning: Week 2 Fantasy Odds

Peyton Manning’s Week 1 performance was not only a disappointment for Denver Broncos fans, but for fantasy football teams around the country as well.

Manning’s sub-par start to the season has not overly affected his projected fantasy value, however, with Bodog listing the over/under total for his Week 2 fantasy points at 19 for this week at Yahoo. Denver plays in Kansas City on Thursday night.

The 39-year-old Broncos quarterback completed 60 percent of his passes in Week 1 but only averaged a mere 4.38 yards per completion while throwing one interception and no touchdowns in the team’s win over the Baltimore Ravens.

That down week saw Manning score a lousy five points for his fantasy owners, which had him below the likes of Blake Bortles, Kirk Cousins, and Teddy Bridgewater.

Which Manning throws more TD PASSES?

The chatter around the Manning family dinner table this past week was likely not about football for once, as not only did Peyton falter in Week 1 but so did brother Eli of the Giants.

The younger Manning completed 70.7 percent of his passes for 193 yards but did not throw a touchdown or interception in the New York Giants’ loss to the Dallas Cowboys on the road in their opener.

Despite Eli having never thrown more touchdowns than his sibling in a season in which they both played, odds at Bodog have opened at the same number for which quarterback will throw more TD strikes this season.
