Podcast: Clark Kellogg on why we’re not seeing great teams this season

Kentucky’s loss to UCLA is a reminder that college hoops doesn’t have an ‘elite’ team. (USATSI)

I got with CBS Sports’ Clark Kellogg on Friday to discuss a variety of college basketball topics and try to answer some questions. Among them:

What are Ohio State’s issues this season?
How much fun has Denzel Valentine’s breakthrough been?
Is Ben Simmons a sure-bet future NBA star?
Is there even one elite team this season?
Is Xavier a legitimate Final Four possibility?

Beyond that, I closed by talking to Clark about the interesting situation in his hometown of Cleveland. On one hand, LeBron James is supposed to bring that city a world championship. On the other hand, the Golden State Warriors never lose.
