Podcast: Talking UK’s technical foul, KU’s Big 12 lead, Ben Simmons, etc.

Texas A&M is still in the SEC title picture after its victory over Kentucky. (USATSI)
Kentucky got a raw deal Saturday night at Texas A&M. (USATSI)

I got with Matt Norlander and Sam Vecenie on Sunday night to discuss a variety of college basketball topics and try to answer some questions. Among them:

• Did Isaac Humphries deserve that technical at the end of Kentucky-Texas A&M ?
• So is Kansas now running away with the Big 12?
• How dumb is it that Ben Simmons even has to concern himself with academic issues?
• Do people realize what Tubby Smith is doing at Texas Tech?
• Do people realize Utah is assembling an incredible body of work?
• Can Xavier get a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament?
• Is Seton Hall going to make the Field of 68?
• What about Wisconsin ?
• And does Ohio State have a chance to enter the at-large conversation?

Beyond all that, I open the podcast with what I hope comes across as a heartfelt thank you to everybody who has shown me kindness over the past week. If you don’t know what I’ve been going through, here’s something I wrote last Thursday. It’s been awful. But people have been awesome. And I just wanted to use a few minutes to express as much.
