Props: Chubb Favored to Outrush Henry

Two of the best running backs in the nation will square off Saturday when Nick Chubb of Georgia and Derrick Henry of Alabama take to the field. According to Bodog Chubb is the favorite to gain more rushing yards than Henry with the Bulldogs back currently listed as -9.5 rushing yards head-to-head with the Tide’s workhorse.

Chubb is averaging 149.8 rushing yards per game this season with 8.4 yards per carry. Henry on the other hand has been steady with an average of 105.5 yards per game and a 6.5 yards per carry mark.

Georgia has been okay against the run this season and has allowed their opponents to rush for 107.3 yards per game, which is good for twenty-fifth run defense in the nation. However, the Bulldogs have not allowed a single rusher to tally more than 76 yards this season.

Nick Saban has Alabama playing their defense at an excellent level as always with the Crimson Tide allowing the fourth fewest rushing yards per game in the country. Alabama has not allowed any rusher this season to get 40 or more yards this rear.
