Props: Winston Interceptions, OROY Odds

Jameis Winston has not exactly been lighting the world on fire since joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The rookie signal caller has completed just 54.9 percent of his passes while throwing seven interceptions through his first four professional games.

If Winston keeps throwing picks at the same rate he has early in his career then he is projected to tie the NFL rookie record of 28 interceptions. Luckily for Bucs supporters, the quarterback that currently holds that distinction is Peyton Manning, so maybe it will all work out.

The road may get easier for Winston as only four of the remaining 12 games are against teams currently in the top 10 for passing defense.

Offensive Rookie of the Year a Tight Race

Through his first three NFL games, Marcus Mariota has completed 62.9 percent of his passes and has thrown for eight touchdowns and only two interceptions. Those numbers have Mariota as a +250 current favorite to win the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award according to Bodog, but the competition is close.

Both Amari Cooper and Todd Gurley are listed at +300 behind Mariota.

The Oakland Raiders have quickly made Cooper the focus of their passing game with the receiver leading the team in pass receptions, targets, yards, and plays over 20+ yards.

Todd Gurley spent the early stages of the season recovering from an ACL tear he suffered at Georgia, but the St. Louis Rams running back hit the scene in a big way in Week 4 with 146 yards on 19 carries.

Will Jamies Winston break Peyton Manning;s rookie record of 28 interceptions?
