Public big on Broncos and the over

The Thursday night games haven’t been the most competitive this
year and while the NFL hopes tonight’s Broncos-Chargers matchup
is a nail-bitter, bettors don’t think that will be the case.

The Broncos opened as 8-point home favorites and after taking
some early sharp money on the Chargers bettors have been all
over Denver, according to Peter Childs of
Sportsbook.ag.

“So far 75 percent of the action is on the Broncos and if
money keeps coming in on them I can see us getting to 8.5 and
quite possibly to -9 as we get closer to kick off,” Childs
told Covers.

When it comes to the total, the trend in primetime games has
been the over and it’s no different tonight, Childs said.

“Last week’s Thursday, Sunday and Monday games all went over,
so to say our 52.5 on tonight’s total is inflated would be an
understatement.”

With over 80 percent of the action on the over, the number
could get as high as 53, if
Sportsbook.ag doesn’t start seeing more under money.

“I do believe sharps are just waiting to see how high we’ll
go before they get involved, but no question there’s value on
this under I’m just not sure anyone’s going to bet it under.”
