Sharps like the dog and the under in Chargers-Raiders game

We talk to Pete Childs of about the action for not only the final Thursday night game of the year, with the Raiders hosting the Chargers, but also the last time we will see future Hall of Famer Charles Woodson play in prime time.

The Raiders enter the AFC West matchup covering five of the last six meetings, including a 37-29 victory in San Diego as 3.5-point dogs back in October and opened this game as 5.5-point favorites.

“We saw some decent, two way action at that number. But as the week progressed we started to see more and more Raider action in this game, enough action and liability to push our line up to Raiders -6, which was our number up until this morning when one of our sharper bettor’s took the dog and that pushed our line back down to 5.5, which is our current number,” Childs told Covers.

Sportsbook is seeing about two Raiders bets to every Chargers bet with 65 percent of the money on the Raiders.

When it comes to the total, while the early money was on the over, the sharps have come in and hammered the under.

“Yesterday afternoon we took sharp action under 47.5 and then again at 47, pushing our total at 46.5, which is our current number. At 46.5 we’ve seen a ton of over money and I suspect we’re going to get back to 47 at some point later today but for now we’re fine with our position on this total,” Childs said.
