The Los Angeles Dodgers have a 3.5-game lead over the
San Francisco Giants in the National League West and send
righty Zack Greinke to the mound who has owned the Giants this
season.

Greinke has a personal 4-0 record in four starts versus the
club’s N.L. West foe, and boasts a 1.38 ERA allowing just
four earned runs over 26 innings.

The Giants will counter with Madison Bumgarner, who himself
has been very effective versus Tuesday’s opponent. Bumgarner
brings a 3-1 record in four starts and he owns a 1.75 ERA
against the Dodgers.

Despite the stellar pitching on hand, bettors supported the
Over on the opening number.

“Total opened at 6 and we were seeing 75 percent of the total
being placed on the over,” says Brad Kennedy of TopBet.eu. “We
have adjusted the total to 6.5 and since the adjustment the
action has been dead even.

As far as the moneyline is concerned, it’s pretty close with
gametime approaching, but the Dodgers get the slight nod.

“Moneyline for this game opened at LAD-140 and we have made a
slight adjustment down to -133 a few hours after we released
the line,” Kennedy said. “Since the adjustment we are seeing
extremely even action with the slight edge going to LAD who
are seeing 53 percent of all Moneyline wagers.

Spread markets tell a different story with a large majority
supporting the Dodgers -1.5.

“Our bettors are seeing value in the spread wagers with the
LAD,” Kennedy tells Covers. “The current line is
LAD-1.5 (+175) and 85 percent of all the spread wagers have
been placed on LAD.”
