Super Bowl halftime line opens with pick’em

At halftime in Super Bowl XLIX, it’s all tied up at 14. We talk to Scott Kaminsky, senior lines manager for, about what their book is offering for second half plays in the Big Game.

“We’re going to open the second half as a pick’em with Seattle -120,” said Kaminsky. “Seattle is getting the ball first which is obviously a slight edge, but I feel like New England is the better team today and I expect them to win this game. It seems like the Patriots can move the ball with ease and have no trouble getting first downs, but the Seahawks have been far more inconsistent in that regard.”

Due to a sharp bet on the Seahawks, Kaminsky moved Seattle’s price to -120. The book is going with a second half total of 24.5 Under -120.

“I don’t think we’re going to get much action on the total, but we have the Under priced at -120,” the lines manager said.
