Timberwolves are Riding an Impressive 10-Game OVER Streak

When it comes to going over totals, no team in the NBA is a better bet than the Minnesota Timberwolves right now.

The Wolves have been an OVER bettors’ dream lately, as they’ve gone above the closing total in 10 straight games. Minny visits the best OVER team in the NBA, the Denver Nuggets,on Wednesday. At 38-16 O/U, the Nuggets have been far and away the top team in that regard due to their mix of solid offense and poor defense.

Bovada opened the total for the Western Conference clash at 228.5, but it was sitting at 226 at the time of writing.

Don’t let that relatively high number scare you off, though. Minnesota has faced an average total of 211 during the streak, and tonight’s line should be higher in my opinion. Standout wing Andrew Wiggins is averaging 27.2 points in the last 10 games, while dominant center Karl-Anthony Towns has chipped in 28.5 during that span.

The Nuggets shocked the basketball world in their last appearance – a 132-110 triumph over the league-best Golden State Warriors on Monday. Denver tied an NBA record with 24 made 3-pointers, which is even more impressive considering they were playing without Danilo Gallinari, Emmanuel Mudiay, Kenneth Faried and Wilson Chandler.

Here’s a game-by-game breakdown of the Timberwolves’ recent OVER tear:
