UCF last second hail mary pushes the total over

UCF was down by four with one second left on the clock when QB Justin Holman threw a 51 yard hail mary to Breshad Perriman to win the game. Not only did that last second play shatter East Carolina fans, it also shattered hopes of under bettors getting a much needed push.

Most of the week the Knight and Pirates line bounced around before settling at 56 Wednesday and most of Thursday. Within two hours of kickoff, most books shifted the total to 55.5. Most action had gotten in at the 56 and with one second left and a 30-26 East Carolina lead, most bettors likely accepted their fate at a push.

Then a terrible defensive effort by three separate East Carolina defenders ensured that the game ended 32-30 in favor of the Knights while burning under bettors in the process.
