UCLA skyrockets up the college hoops futures as conference play begins

The usual suspects dominated the top of NCAA basketball preseason futures board, with notable programs like Duke, Kentucky, and Kansas among the favorites to win the National Championship. With the calendar changing to 2017 and college hoops preparing to take center stage, a couple of teams have seen their odds jump while others have stumbled. 

The biggest jump comes from UCLA and Gonzaga. The Bruins opened the season at 80/1 and after starting the season on a thirteen game winning streak now sit at 8/1.  As for the undefeated Bulldogs their odds jumped from 80/1 and have since dropped to 20/1. On the disappointing side of things, Connecticut started November at 40/1 and find themselves at 5000/1 first week in January.
