In a weekend that will be filled with Super Bowl props, sports bettors get to start their wagering action early on Saturday night with a full pay-per-view UFC card. MMA betting action on the card is already available at 5Dimes and other sportsbooks, including lots of UFC 183 prop odds options.
UFC 183 will see the long-awaited return of two of the sport’s favorite personalities. Former Middleweight champions Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz both return from long layoffs to battle in the UFC 183 main event. Current UFC odds at 5Dimes have Silva handicapped as the -470 favorite while the Diaz upset will pay +375.
We see a technical fight that will likely go the distance. We really like the parlay of Over 3.5 rounds at +120, the +248 MMA odds on Silva winning a decision and the +320 on Silva wins via unanimous decision.
The UFC 183 co-main event offers MMA betting fans a rare opportunity to cash in on a rising star at a cheap price. Currently a -120 favorite at 5Dimes, Kelvin Gastelum will be a big part of the future of the UFC Welterweight division. We don’t see much value in the +100 upset option on Woodley to win, especially against a mauling style like Gastelum’s.
In a three rounder we like the fight goes Over 2.5 rounds at -150 as well as the Gastelum wins by decision at +201. We expect Gastelum to dominate, possibly enough to finish his opponent, making the best value in this matchup on the moneyline on him to win.
In what looks like the best opportunity for an upset payday on the UFC 183 fight card, Joe Lauzon will face rising star Al Iaquinta in a Lightweight battle. Current odds at 5Dimes have the Lauzon wins at +165 as well as the Lauzon wins by submission at +385.
